Well, i guess one can get away with using MTVs as a blog posts but only for so many times... =)
It's been a tough time, actually. The course that i'm in has turned out to be completely and unexpectedly difficult. This has had two effects so far, the first is that i've been rendered completely and unexpectedly busy. The second is that my self-confidence has been assaulted in an extremely effective fashion. But i guess this is right. Perhaps i have been too successful in my pursuit of excellence, that i forgot that there is a limit to my own capability(and it is not that high =). i got where i am cos i was carried along on eagle's wings. It is good to remember that. =)
But the more important lesson that i've learnt is this: where you set priorities, you must be prepared to pay the price. It's really no good telling yourself that you believe A is more important to you than B but when it comes to the crunch, you are unable to truly sacrifice B for A. So as i face the numerous other commitments that compete with my course for my time and attention, i am confronted with these questions: Just how important is this course to me? And if it is truly as i claim, that God and church and friendship and romance are more important, am i willing to pay the price?
These are not easy questions. Especially becos even when something is prioritised over another, there is no guarantee that the objective will be achieved. But at the same time, there are also no relevant MTVs to take cover behind so things will get exciting in this blog for a while.
Let's just hang around and see how God helps me find the answers.
