Free!

After 3 weeks of continued stress and hardwork, the ordeal has finally come to an end with the submission of my Ocean Passage Plan report this morning. To someone who never had to do a thesis, dissection or final-year-project, this is really tough. Hence, putting it behind me means that i no longer have to worry about meeting deadlines, staying up late or wanting to smash the radio while listening to Class95 all thru the night(no choice, my classmates like).

My thanks go to friends and family who helped me pull through with their care, concern, gifts and jokes and to my Superhero God who saved me time and again with all those little miracles of His. =)

Enjoy the moment of Now.
Life is fantastic.

CNY 07

it's nice to celebrate CNY in SG, where i hav not been at for the last 3 CNYs... looking at all the new condos, offices and mosques which they've built on the way to my auntie's house, seeing all the cousins, aunts who have gained weight / lost weight / remained the same and the amazing little ones who grow up so fast and dance such funny dances (as seen on left), eating all the nice CNY goodies...

This is home, truly,
where i know i must be,
this is where i won't be alone
for this is where i know i'm home...

to all DuhEconomist readers near and far, have a wonderful CNY. =)

Googler

Jiehan introduced this to me some years back but i was never free enough to actually try it out. As with most things, in the end, work forced me to use it and i've found tt it's quite fun. Get Google Earth! it's cool!

btw Watson, you can reach me thru email: ng.yanjie@yahoo.com.sg

Drugs

Well, if i keep quiet any longer, i fear tt i may forget how to blog. Not to mention tt i know one can only look at Dong Su Hua for so many times before wanting to kill the blogger who puts her at the front page.

Not exactly the best thing to say on the first entry of this year but i'm sick. i've been turned into a junkie of sorts for the past few days, eating panadol, rapidol and all sorts of brain-cell-busting medicine to keep my fever down and my headaches away. i hope this is not a sign of old age... in the past, i've always been rather proud of myself in a few aspects, such as my independence frm coffee and my refusal to consume more paracetemol than necessary. All i can say is tt God removes pride frm the proud... but if anybody wants to know, i recommend 'Vicks NyQuil LiquiCaps' as the mind-messer-of-choice. it looks good (the orange colour pill) and works superbly well. Only problem is, i dunno if you can get it in SG, cos i got mine frm Sean who got them in the US. they actually come in 2 diff types, the orange ones keep you awake and the green ones conk you out. if you find them in pharmacies, do let me know.
