Tuesday

Like i said, i was pretty bored yesterday so i surfed the Net like crazy to look for fun and free stuff... Amazingly, i found 2 online MMORPGs both of which are free and have the abbreviation KOL...

Actually, the second one wasn't so much found as it was remembered... Sometime ago, when i was still playing Maplestory, Justin the Tower introduced me to this game called 'Knight Online'... Turns out that they have a Malaysian server so i thot i'd give it a go... After many hours of downloading the program and installing it, turns out i can't connect to the server... and no, it's not becos you need to be in m'sia to play... haha.. that's a fine piece of 'Boleh' engineering for you...

Anyway, i then tried the international server... Turns out to be quite an interesting game... the usual knights-fight-monster-rescue-kingdom storyline... Pretty good graphics too... However, the gameplay was rather hard and not very intuitive at all... Then again, this being a Free2Play game, i'll say it's worth playing... If you're interested, go here.

So anyway, it's this first game i found which i really want to blog about... It's a turn-based, black-and-white game that's super hilarious!!! The name is called 'Kingdom of Loathing', from which you can already sense a potentially lame, mindless and pointless game... The type i like! =D To illustrate my point, check out this screenshot:

If you read enough Douglas Adams, you will also agree that the writing is very 'DAdamseque'... Anyway, i totally recommend this game to anyone with abit of free time and a sense of humour... Of cos, it may get stale after a while but it should give u a good few hours of fun... You can just play it here.

p/s: while editing this entry, i realised something.. Turns out that i've used a lot of 'turns out' in my writing... if you noticed before reading this, you're SHARP.
