The Readman
Holland beats Cote D'Ivoire and goes thru to the Top 16!
Anyway, if there's anything that was stopping me from actively blogging the last few days, it was unfortunately not, as widely expected, the World Cup... i mean, soccer is great fun to watch, especially when you stay in the right time zone but the qualifying rounds just dont quite cut it..
In fact, it was because i was reading my book, a nice 'TWO Bestsellers in ONE Volume' thingy which i got at 3 for 5pds at The Works, containing 'The Kremlin Device' and 'The Watchman', both by Chris Ryan.. The first was ok, some spies-and-special-forces book that was trying really hard to be a thriller but failed half the time.. 'The Watchman', now that's the interesting one... It was also abt the same kind of stuff (i think Ryan is into this genre) but it was really gripping... So gripping, in fact, that i finished the book in one day with the tv in front of me showing Argentina's 6-0 demolition game... And although i'm not the world's least avid book reader, this is a new record...
So that's y no entry for last few days... Anyway, i've mentioned more than once that my blogging style is always very affected by the stuff i read at that point in time and i think i'm moving on to some dry 18th century sailing nonesense... So that's a warning, trooper...
Mingwei: Yalor, too bad you couldn't join us but had to spend the time with some girl... i guess we've all been there... =p
